A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ANNUAL APPOINTMENT OF A COMMITTEE, RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ANNUAL NEGOTIATION OF CONTRACTS FOR LEGAL, ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING AND LAND SURVEYING SERVICES AS REQUIRED BY ACT 616, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE COUNCIL

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the State of Arkansas, through Act 616 declaring the procurement of certain professional services, and
WHEREAS, these services are to be negotiated annually on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is authorized to appoint an annual committee responsible for the annual negotiation of contracts for such services as mentioned above and shall make recommendations to the Council for consideration.
