A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING FOR THE SURVEY OF OAKLAWN AND NETTLETON CEMETERIES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Oaklawn and Nettleton Cemeteries;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is contracted with Associated Engineering for survey work being performed in the City Cemeteries;

WHEREAS, additional areas needed to be surveyed in Oaklawn and Nettleton Cemeteries to sell spaces;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall amend its contract with Associated Engineering for the purpose of surveying and mapping Oaklawn and Nettleton Cemeteries.  A copy of said contract amendment is attached as "Exhibit A."

SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
