A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH HYETTPALMA TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE OF UPDATING THE DOWNTOWN ACTION AGENDA

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has performed a request for proposals process for the services of updating the Downtown Action Agenda; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desire to enter into a contract with HyettPalma for this service; and
WHEREAS, the cost for said services is $27,500; and
WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the general fund;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The City of Jonesboro shall enter into contract with HyettPalma for the services of updating the Downtown Action Agenda; and
Section 2: The funding, in the amount of $27,500, for the execution of the contract shall come from the general fund, and compensation shall be provided 60% ($16,500) up front and 40% ($11,000) upon completion of the services; and
Section 3: The Mayor, Harold Perrin, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
