A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN

Body

WHEREAS, a Stormwater Management Plan is required for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Phase II stormwater regulations, promulgated under the Federal Clean Water Act

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro Engineering Department has developed a Stormwater Management Plan for the City of Jonesboro

WHEREAS, the Stormwater Management Board (SWMB) has reviewed and endorsed the Stormwater Management Plan

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1.  The City of Jonesboro shall approve and adopt the Stormwater Management Plan (attached).

Section 2.  The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to approve and adopt the Stormwater Management Plan.
