AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That, Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the City Planning Commission, by the changes in zoning boundaries as follows: From Residential (R-3) to Industrial (I-2) the following described property:

All of, Lots 1 and 17, and the East 65.0’ of Lot 2 and 16, of Tate Industrial Addition, to Jonesboro, Arkansas, also, all of Lot 2 and the East 15.0’ of Lot 1 of Tate Second Industrial Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas

Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, that the proper use of the tracts of land described in this ordinance is being delayed necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
