A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH RELATIVITY, INC. FOR DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEBSITE THE JONESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH SPECIFIED WEBSITE ITEMS AND FUNCTIONS

WHEREAS, City of Jonesboro has determined that a Jonesboro Police Department will be of benefit and enhancement of services to the citizens of City of Jonesboro
WHEREAS, Relativity, Inc. is in the business of providing these services that will prove to be effective and compliment services to the City of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, Relativity, Inc has evidenced a willingness to develop and implement these website services for City of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, Relativity, Inc is a sole source vendor that can utilize the existing databases already in use by the Jonesboro Police Department to provide information for certain aspects of the website, such as sex offender locations and the gang database; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has reviewed the contract by Relativity, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has approved the contract, and
Section 2: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro to sign and enter into a contract with Relativity, Inc. for the development and implementation of the website for the Jonesboro Police Department.
