RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON UNIMPROVED PORTIONS OF UTILITY EASEMENTS IN RAIDER VILLAGE AS REQUESTED BY PHILLIPS INVESTMENTS, INC.

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the unimproved portions of two (2) fifteen-foot (15') utility easements in Raider village, Jonesboro, Arkansas be vacated and abandoned, AND
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above utility can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the unimproved portion of two (2) fifteen-foot (15') utility easements in Raider Village, Jonesboro, Arkansas, and this matter will be heard before the City Council on March 3, 1997, at 6:20 o'clock p.m. at Municipal Court, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
