A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING PLAN WITH CRAIGHEAD COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF UTILIZING FEDERAL GRANT HOUSING FUNDS FOR THE CITIZENS OF JONESBORO AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (NOTE: THIS PLAN WAS EXTENDED BY RES-98:1041 ON JUNE 15, 1998)

WHEREAS, in order for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Craighead County to qualify for Federal Housing Grants, a Comprehensive Housing Plan must be adopted and;
WHEREAS, Craighead County and the Grants Committee recommend approval of the Comprehensive Housing Plan for the City of Jonesboro and for Craighead County, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that in accordance with these recommendations, the attached Comprehensive Housing Plan shall be endorsed by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Craighead County.
