RESOLUTION TO PLEDGE SUPPORT FOR THE HOPE 3 PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the Crowley's Ridge Development Council desires to file an application for an affordable housing grant known as "Homeownership Opportunities for People Everywhere" or better known as the "HOPE 3" program, and:
WHEREAS, the HOPE 3 program will provide low-income families the opportunity to own their own home; and
WHEREAS, the HOPE 3 program will generate approximately $500,000.00 to the City of Jonesboro to be used for affordable housing.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas endorses and pledges their support and cooperation to the HOPE 3 Program, as well as the Crowley's Ridge Development Council to see that this project would be carried out in a manner that would be pleasing and advantageous to the citizens of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
