A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT FOR SHOULDER IMPROVEMENTS ON LAWSON ROAD WITH ARKANSAS GAME AND FISH COMMISSION

Body

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro desires to improve the shoulder of Lawson Road, and

WHEREAS, The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission agrees to reimburse costs of said improvement proposal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro hereby authorizes a Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission regarding reimbursement of costs for improving the shoulders of Lawson Road.

Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.

Section 3:  This Resolution shall take effect after its passage and approval.
