AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF SARA AVENUE LYING EAST OF KATHLEEN STREET

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro and the Jonesboro Industrial Development Corporation are not the owners of all properties abutting on a portion of Sara Avenue, more particularly described below, and it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City to vacate and abandon such portion of Sara Avenue, the same being not required for corporate purposes as a public street:
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the portion of Sarah Avenue lying East of Kathleen Street, be, and the same is hereby vacated, as a public street or passageway under the powers granted to the City by Arkansas Statute 19-304 and others.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 1963.
