AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TWO 30-MINUTE PARKING METERS TO BE PLACED ON CHURCH STREET BETWEEN CITIZENS DRIVE-IN BANK DRIVEWAY SOUTH TO JACKSON STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: From and after passage and adoption of this Ordinance, there shall be created two 30 minute parking spaces with parking meters at five cents for 30 minutes, on Church Street between Citizens Drive-In Bank drive-way South to Jackson Street.
Section 2: The Chief of Police or some person designated by him is hereby directed to place two 30 minute parking meters at five cents for 30 minutes at said location.
Section 3: All Ordinances and laws or parts of Ordinances and laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
