A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO CAMERON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE TIE-IN OF COTTAGE HOME ROAD AND HIGHWAY 18 EAST

WHEREAS, Cameron Construction Company by agreement with the City in lieu of bids has constructed the tie-in of Cottage Home Road and Highway 18 East, such tie-end being necessary due to construction work by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHDT) on Highway 18 East, and

WHEREAS, Cameron Construction Company was engaged by AHTD to perform the construction work on Highway 18 and agreed to construct the Cottage Home Road tie-end with no charge to the City for labor, charging only for the required materials

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:

Payment is hereby authorized to Cameron Construction Company in the amount of $3,349.22 for the cost of material provided for the tie-in of Cottage Home Road and Highway 18 East, such payment to be charged to the 2004 Street Department budget line-item appropriation account for street materials.
