BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That the19th day of April, 1976, is hereby given as a day for the hearing upon the petition of the abutting property owners for the abandonment and vacating of the following described alley in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
An alley 15 feet in width running North and South between Lots 7 thru 25 and Lots 26 thru 44 in Block 1 of M.R. Carson Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas,
Platted and filed for record in the Recorder's Office at Jonesboro, Arkansas in Surveyor's Record___ at page ____.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to give Notice of the time and hearing of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the persons who signed the petition, the description of the alley, or parts thereof to be vacated, and shall identify same by the abutting lot and block numbers, and the Notice shall advise all persons that on the 19th day of April, 1976, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
