AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORD-06:112 TO CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION

WHEREAS, ORD-06:112, amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was passed and adopted on July 18, 2006;
WHEREAS, an error has been discovered in the legal description of the property described in ORD-06:112;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to correct the previous error with the following legal description:
The NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 28, T14N-R5E, Craighead County, Arkansas, containing 118.22 acres, more or less, and
Part of the South 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 28, T14N-R5E, being more particularly described as follows: Commence at the SE Corner of said Section 28, also the point of beginning; thence S 87°28'04" W along the South line of Section 28, 2628.28 feet; thence N 01°34'57" W 1305.62 feet; thence N 87°24'08" E 2626.82 feet; thence S 01°38'56" E 1308.61 feet to the point of beginning, containing 78.83 acres, and being subject to road right of ways across the South and East sides.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: That the legal description in previous ORD-06:112 be amended to read as described above.
