A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE CITY OF JONESBORO GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE UNDER THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

Body

WHEREAS, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is in full effect and covers the City of Jonesboro; and,

WHEREAS, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has established certain steps which must be fully complied with to ensure that individuals are not subjected to discrimination, including a Grievance Procedure; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and has established a Grievance Procedure; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to adopt the attached Grievance Procedure under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Jonesboro hereby adopts the Grievance Procedure under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
