RESOLUTION DATED 4/19/76 SETTING MAY 3RD DATE FOR HEARING UPON PETITION OF CRAIGHEAD INVESTMENTS, INC.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That the 3rd day of May, 1976, is hereby fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition of Craighead Investment, Inc. and Citizens Bank of Jonesboro praying for the abandonment and vacating of the following described alley in the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas:
An alley running east and west through the East one-half of Block G of the original survey of the Town of Jonesboro, Arkansas, said valley extending from Church Street on the east to an alley on the west running north an south through said Block G and being approximately 10 feet in width, and being bounded on the north by Lot 2 and Block G bounded on the south by Lots 3, 4, and 5 of Block G as shown on County Surveyor's Record 1 at page 1 at Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of the date and place of the hearing on said petition by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the name of the property owners who signed the petition, the description of the alley to be vacated and shall identify the same by the abutting lot and block numbers and the notice shall advise all persons that on the 3rd day of May, 1976, this council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
Adopted on this 19th day of April, 1976.
