A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BRACKETT KRENNERICH & ASSOCIATES, P.A. TO PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL/ ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE FIRING RANGE PROJECT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the proposal and enter into a contract to provide architectural/engineering services for the firing range project;
WHEREAS, the Selection Committee has determined that Brackett Krennerich & Associates P.A. is the most qualified firm for the project;
WHEREAS, the firm selected for the firing range project is Brackett Krennerich & Associates P.A.;
WHEREAS, Brackett Krennerich & Associated P.A. has submitted a lump sum price of $181,700.00 plus reimbursable expenses to provide architectural/engineering services for the firing range project;
WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the 2016 Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the proposal and enter into a contract with Brackett Krennerich & Associates P.A. for $181,700.00 plus reimbursable expenses to provide architectural/engineering services for the firing range project.
Section 2. The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the 2016 Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
