RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH CONDEMNATION ACTION ON A PORTION OF PROPERTY OWNED BY JACK AND DOROTHY HILL AND CONNIE HALK

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT THE CITY ATTORNEY BE, AND SHE IS HEREBY, DIRECTED TO PROCEED WITH CONDEMNATION ACTION AGAINST THE PORTION OF PROPERTY OWNED BY JACK AND DORTHY HILL AND CONNIE HALK
LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS:
A part of the SE° NW° of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, being more particularly described as follows; begin at the center of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence S89°07'42"W 5000' to the West R/W line of Browns Lane, the point of beginning proper; thence S89°07'42"W 163.00'; thence N2°09'08"W 41.00'; thence N89°07'42" E 164.75' to the West R/W Line of Browns Lane; thence S0°17'12"W along said R/W Line 41.00 to the point of beginning proper, containing 0.1542 acres, more or less, subject to all rights of way and easements of records.
A part of the SE° NW° of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, being more particularly described as follows: begin at the center of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence S89°07'42"W 213.00' to the point of beginning proper; thence S89°07' 42"W 733.43; to the intersection with a curve whose radius = 443.84'; thence Northeasterly along said curve (Chord Bears N76°43'04" E190.77' ) a distance of 192.27'; thence N89°07'42" E 546.19'; thence S2°09'08" E 41.00' to the point of beginning proper containing 0.6325 acres, more or less, subject to all rights of way and easements of record.
That this may be necessary to provide for right of way for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
