RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO PLACE THE ISSUE OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA TRAFFIC AUTHORITY PLAN ON THE BALLOT FOR NOVEMBER 3, 1992

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Citizens of Jonesboro, Arkansas to vote on the issue and determine the feelings of its majority regarding the metropolitan area traffic authority plan as contained in Ordinance No. 2381, passed by this body February 17, 1992.

THEREFORE, by passage of this resolution, the City Administration shall be authorized and instructed to take the necessary steps to place the issue on the ballot for a referendum a the next General Election, Tuesday, November 3, 1992.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands this 6th day of April, 1992.
