CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - APRIL 1, 1996

1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll call by Clerk

3. Approval of minutes from March 18, 1996, as provided.

4. City Attorney:

(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend Chapter 8.44 of the Jonesboro Municipal Code entitled Downtown Parking to designate lease and free parking lots, and establish therefore and for other purposes.

(B) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located at 2401 W. Matthews, west of Oaklawn Cemetery. (David Sandborn)

(C) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Agricultural (AG-1) to Residential (R-1), for 289.30 acres, located west of Ridgepointe Drive, south of Strawfloor Drive. (Ridgepointe Development Corporation).

(D) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Commercial (C-3) to Industrial (I-1) for 1.14 acres located on the north side of Access Road, east of Willow Road. (Craig Boone and Mark Osborn)

(E) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend Chapter 7.36.01 of the Jonesboro Municipal Code, known as "Selling or Discharging Fireworks", to prohibit sales within city limits.
