RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH CONDREY AND ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE JOB DESCRIPTIONS OF ALL CITY EMPLOYEES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has determined that in conjunction with the new pay plan the need exists for the review and rewriting of all city job descriptions; And

WHEREAS, Condrey and Associates will review and produce and updated description of all jobs in the current pay plan for a fixed fee of $7,500.00 as stated in Exhibit A; And

WHEREAS, funding has been provided in the 2004 budget to come from the Human Resources, Professional Services line item.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Condrey and Associates to provide job descriptions of all city employees.
