AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8.40.18 - PARKING TIME LIMIT: TO ADD UNDER SUBSECTION ( B ) ( G )- EXEMPTION OF JUSTICE COMPLEX EMPLOYEES AND CITY ATTORNEY FROM TWO HOUR PARKING LIMIT ON JUSTICE COMPLEX PARKING LOT.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to amend the code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas as follows:
SECTION 1: To amend Section 8.40.18 by adding a subsection (G) which shall read as follows:
(G) All Justice Complex Employees as designated by the appropriate department head and the City Attorney by virtue of Municipal Court attendance shall be exempt from the two hour parking limit referred to herein and each person’s vehicle shall bear the appropriate city official.
SECTION 2: An emergency is declared to exist and in order to preserve the public peace, health and safety this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
