RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A STREET EASEMENT IN CALDWELL'S SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that street easements along lots G, H and K in Caldwell's subdivision be vacated.
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above street can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the street easements of G, H and K in Caldwell's Subdivision and that this matter will be heard before the City Council at 6:50 p.m. on November 21, 1994 at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 7th day of November, 1994.
