BE IT ENACTED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
Section 1: Ordinance No.1242 adopted October 20th, 1969 is hereby repealed.
 
Section 2: There is hereby adopted a zoning and height code for the Jonesboro Municipal Airport to be known and cited as the Jonesboro Municipal Airport Zoning and Height Code 1987 Edition. Three copies of this code shall be filed in the office of The City Clerk for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and this code is hereby adopted and incorporated within this ordinance as if set out word for word herein and from the date in which this ordinance takes effect the provisions hereof shall govern zoning and utilization of airport property and approaches to airport property.
 
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council, City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that this ordinance is necessary to regulate and restrict the height of structures and objects of natural growth and other wise regulate the use of property in the vicinity of the Jonesboro Municipal Airport by creating appropriate zones and establishing the boundaries thereof and that this ordinance is necessary to preserve and enhance the public peace, health and safety and therefore an emergency is declared and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
 
PASSED and ADOPTED on this 1st day of June, 1987.
