A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION PLANNING AND ADVISORY COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro maintains park and recreation facilities for use by the public;

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Planning and Advisory Committee advises the City Council in the planning and development of its parks and facilities;

WHEREAS, Jay Clevenger and Fred Hargett have been nominated by Mayor Formon to serve on the Parks and Recreation Planning and Advisory Committee for a term of 1 year; expiring December, 31^st  2007;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro appoints Jay Clevenger and Fred Hargett to serve on the Parks and Recreation Planning and Advisory Committee.

PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6^th day of February, 2007.
