RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH AUBREY SCOTT TO COORDINATE HIGH PRIORITY SPECIAL DRAINAGE PROJECTS AND OBTAIN RIGHT OF WAYS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION ON AN INTERIM BASIS

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a contract with Aubrey Scott, an independent contractor for the purpose of coordinating high priority special drainage projects and obtaining property right of ways for street improvements and construction on an interim basis; and,

WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute this contract;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

1. This contract for the purpose of obtaining the services of Aubrey Scott to coordinate high priority special drainage projects and obtain property right of ways for street improvements and construction on an interim basis is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro.

2. The funding for the execution of this contract shall come from the account, Drainage Study Part II, #07-100-02-50-00.

3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said contract.
