AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION FOR IKE-2 DISASTER GRANT

Body

WHEREAS, Jonesboro, Arkansas is applying to the State of Arkansas for an Arkansas Community and Economic Development grant, Program for IKE-2 Disaster funding; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain condition be met as part of the application requirements; and

WHEREAS, Jonesboro, Arkansas has conducted a public hearing as part of the application process to receive and consider comments on community development and housing needs; and

WHEREAS, as a result of the public hearing, Jonesboro, Arkansas has identified and prioritized community development and housing needs.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Honorable Harold Perrin, Mayor of Jonesboro Arkansas is authorized to submit an IKE-2 Disaster Relief Project application to the State of Arkansas, on behalf of Jonesboro, Arkansas and to expend funds for a project, if funded.
