PART OF LOT 8, BLOCK 1 OF PATRICK'S 1ST ADDITION, JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 8, BLOCK 1 OF PATRICK'S 1ST ADDITION, JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS;  THENCE NORTH 89°42'29" AST, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8, 75.00 FEET;  THENCE SOUTH 01°01'17" WEST, LEAVING SAID NORTH LINE, 3.53 FEET;  THENCE SOUTH 89°50'45" WEST, 34.08 FEET;  THENCE SOUTH 85°37'07" WEST, 41.09 FEET;  THENCE NORTH 01°01'17" EAST, 6.38 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 320 SQ. WHEREAS, an Offer has been made and accepted to the sell the above described property for the price of $960.00.

WHEREAS, the attached Offer and Acceptance will be executed upon passage of this resolution.

WHEREAS, the funding for this purchase shall come from the Capital Improvement budget.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:

Section 1:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents necessary to effectuate this transaction.
