AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE-22:037 (O-EN-043-2022) FOR THE PURPOSE OF CORRECTING A SCRIVENER’S ERROR

WHEREAS, by Ordinance-22:037 (O-EN-043-2022) dated September 22, 2022, the private club permit application of The Higher Heights Learning Academy, doing business as JW’s Cigar Lounge and Grill of Jonesboro, was approved; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance contains a scrivener’s error in the name of The Higher Heights Learning Academy; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance should be amended to remove “LLC” from the name of The Higher Heights Learning Academy; and
WHEREAS, all applicable laws, rules, and regulations have been complied with in presenting this Ordinance to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
Ordinance-22:037 (O-EN-043-2022) dated September 22, 2022, should be, and is hereby, amended to remove “LLC” from the name of The Higher Heights Learning Academy. All other statements of Ordinance-22:037 (O-EN-043-2022) dated September 22, 2022 are adopted and restated herein word for word.
