AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF DUMPSTERS BY SANITATION DEPARTMENT

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: The City Council finds and declares that there is a need to allow the sale of dumpsters by the Sanitation Department immediately.
Section 2: Authorization for sale of the above property is needed now in order to finance operations of the Sanitation Department.
Section 3: The City Council finds and declares that the immediate sale of the above described items is necessary for the health and welfare of the citizens of Jonesboro. Therefore, an emergency is here by declared to exist; This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1987.
