RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE JETS PARA-TRANSIT PLAN AND ADA PARA-TRANSIT APPLICATION

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has agreed to approve the Para-transit Plan for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991, along with the JETS ADA Para-transit Application; and

WHEREAS, the Transportation Coordinator and the Community Transportation Advisory Board have approved the Plan and Application; and

WHEREAS, the Plan and Application are necessary for the City of Jonesboro to comply with state and federal regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:

The Para-transit Plan for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991 and the JETS ADA Para-transit Application are hereby authorized and approved.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 2006.
