AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.954 PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Ordinance No.954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro is amended as recommended by the City Planning Commission by the change of zoning district boundaries as follows:
1. From Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3) of part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, more particularly described as beginning at a point 400 feet west of the intersection of U.S. Highway No.63 and Caraway Road; thence west 200 feet; thence north to the north boundary of said Southeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter; thence east 200 feet; thence south to the point of beginning proper, said property fronting on the north side of East Nettleton Avenue.
2. From Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3) of approximately twenty-seven acres described as: Commerce at the Southwest Corner of Block “C” of Sigler’s College Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and go south 21.5 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence south to the north boundary line of Forrest Home Avenue; thence east to the west boundary line of County Road (also described as Young Street); thence north to a point 21.5 feet south of the Southeast Corner of Block “D” of said addition; thence west to the point of beginning proper, said property lying south of East Nettleton Avenue and west of Young Street.
3. From Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3) of Lots 30, 31 and 32 of Cobb and Lee’s survey of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, said lots lying in the Northeast Corner of the intersection of East Lake City Avenue and Arch Street.
4. From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) of Lots 1, 2, 3 & 4 in Block “1” of Ridgecrest Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, being a tract 155 Feet East and We...
