A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE RACE ST. SIDEWALK & RR PED. CROSSING - JOB NO. 2017:26

WHEREAS, , the City of Jonesboro entered into a contract for sidewalk and RR Ped. Crossing improvements on Race Street with Alvin Crabtree & Son, Inc.;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to change the project with Change Order No. 1 as attached increasing the contract amount $15,196.31, the new contract amount is $68,054.31
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the change order shall come from the Arkansas Transportation Alternatives Program budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro hereby accepts Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $15,196.31 from Alvin Crabtree & Son, Inc.
Section 2. That funding for the execution of the change order shall come from the Arkansas Transportation Alternatives Program budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this Change Order.
