RESOLUTION TO EXECUTE AN EXTERNAL AUDITING ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH BAIRD, KURTZ AND DODSON

WHEREAS, the Audit Subcommittee acting as Professional Services has met all requirements regarding A.C.A. 19-11-801 for the procurement of services; AND

WHEREAS, negotiations have been completed and a recommendation has been presented and accepted by the Finance and Administration Committee;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and accept the external auditing Engagement Agreement of Baird, Kurtz, and Dodson  (BKD) consisting of pages 1 through 5, known as attachment A inclusive.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 21^st day of July, 2003.
