“SPECIAL CALLED MEETING”
PRATT CIRCLE ANNEXATION
AUGUST 30, 1979
The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met Thursday, August 30, 1979 at 7:30 in the court room at City Hall.
Members Present: Morrison, Smith, Gott Freeman and Scott
Members Absent: Cooper, Ball, Tilton and Brown.
Others Present: Mike Cameron, Roy Douglas, Brenda Barnes, Judge Dennis Gilliam and Carlos Wood.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Morrison, Chairman.
Item #1 Stanley R. Langley, Attorney for the Petitioners of the Pratt Circle area petitions to the MAPC for a zoning classification of Residential Two (R-2). Subject zoning request is submitted under the provisions of Ordinance No.1473 providing for zoning classification prior to the subject property being annexed to the City. The MAPC is asked to prepare a written statement as to what effect the Annexation would have on the City Accepting such lands. The property is described as follows: A part of the W ¼ of Section 8, Township 14 North, Range 4 east and the east 30’ of that part of Section 7, Township 14 north - Range 4 east lying north of the centerline of Lost Creek ditch all being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the northwest corner of Section B, Township 14 North, Range 4 east; thence in an easterly direction of the Section line 1667’; thence in a southwesterly direction with the meanderings of the centerline of said Lost Creek ditch to a point 30’ west of the west line of Section 8, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence in a northerly direction (30’ west of an parallel with the west line of said Section 8} to the North line of Section 7, Township 14 North, Range east; thence in an easterly direction on the North line of Section 7, Township 14 North Range 4 east 30’ to the point of beginning.
