A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO
CONTRACT WITH BRACKETT-KRENNERICH AND ASSOCIATES, P.A. FOR DESIGN OF A NEW BATHHOUSE AT CRAIGHEAD FOREST PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains the campground at Craighead Forest Park located at 4910 S. Culberhouse Road;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is seeking to contract with Brackett-Krennerich Associates to design a bath house for the campground at Craighead Forest Park;
WHEREAS, Brackett-Krennerich Associates is asking 5% of the construction Costs to perform architectural design, bidding and contract administration for the bath house facility;
WHEREAS, funds for the contract shall come from the 2007 Outdoor Recreation Grant; 09-100-0632-00;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall contract with Brackett-Krennerich Associates for 5% of the construction costs for the design, bidding and contract administration of a bath house at Craighead Forest Park Campground.
Section 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
