BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classifications as follows:

From Residential (I-2) to Industrial (I-1) the following described property:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:

Begin at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast of Section 13, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas; Thence West 69.62 feet to the Centerline of North Culberhouse Road; Thence North 0°41'37" East along said centerline of North Culberhouse Road, 328.56 Feet; Thence North 88°24' 53" West 50.00 feet to the proposed West Right-of-Way Line of North Culberhouse Road the Point of Beginning Proper; thence south 0°41'37" West along said proposed west right-of-way line 67.00 feet; thence North 84°04'53" West 211.65 feet; thence North 1°35'07" East 368.30 feet; Thence South 88°24'53" East 203.10 feet to the proposed West Right-of-Way line of North Culberhouse Road; Thence along said proposed West Right-of- Way Line of North Culberhouse Road as follows: South 0°13'02" West 236.23 feet, South 0°41'37" West 81.15 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 1.79 acres.

SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tract(s) of land described above in this ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning, and that, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take eff...
