A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE LOW BID AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ZERAUS COMMUNICATION (SPRINT) FOR JONESBORO’S WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NEEDS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to accept the low bid and enter into a contract for wireless communications; And
WHEREAS, the low bidder is Zeraus Communications (SPRINT); And
WHEREAS, Zeraus Communications (SPRINT), the low bid meeting bid specifications has bid the following terms for a five year period:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the low bid and enter into a contract with Zeraus Communications (SPRINT) in the amount of $5,688.64 for Jonesboro’s wireless communication needs for a period of five years.
Section 2: The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from General Fund Reserves and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
