A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH PEPSI BEVERAGES COMPANY FOR EXCLUSIVE POURING RIGHTS AT SOUTHSIDE SOFTBALL COMPLEX

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Southside Softball Complex located at 5009 Stadium Blvd; and
WHEREAS, Pepsi Beverages Company is seeking exclusive pouring rights at Southside Softball Complex ; and
WHEREAS, Pepsi Beverages Company will have exclusive pouring rights for a period of 5 years with a signing bonus of $6,000, a annul sponsorship of $1,000 yearly, and a rebate program; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with Pepsi Beverages Company for the exclusive pouring rights at Southside Softball Complex. A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
