RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSALS FROM BLUECROSS BLUESHIELD AND DELTA DENTAL FOR CITY OF JONESBORO EMPLOYEE INSURANCE

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro was obligated in 1998 to accept new proposals for both Major Medical and Dental Insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, BlueCross BlueShield of Arkansas provided the proposal for Major Medical Insurance which best suited the needs of City employees at the most economical price; and
WHEREAS, Delta Dental provided the most credible and economical proposal for Dental Insurance coverage for City employees;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that the Major Medical proposal offered by BlueCross BlueShield and the Dental proposal offered by Delta Dental be accepted and become effective January 1, 1999.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1998.
