RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON ALL ALLEYS IN BLOCK B OF EARL KIECH SECOND ADDITION

WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that all alleys in Block B, in Earl Kiech Second Addition, Jonesboro Arkansas be vacated and abandoned;

WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND

WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated 19-3814 requires two week public notice before the above alleys can be vacated and abandoned;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the alley described above and this matter will be heard before the City Council on   June 15, 1998 at 5:30 p.m. at 410 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
