AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 954, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, TO REZONE FROM R-2 TO C-4, CERTAIN PROPERTY (1900 Aggie Road)

WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has heard all persons desiring to be heard regarding the proposed rezoning of certain property generally located at the northeast corner of Melrose Street and Aggie Road, and has recommended to the City Council rezoning as described below; and
WHEREAS, said recommendation was made with the understanding and concurrence that subsequent Limited Use (LU) provisions, if adopted in the new code, would be applied, thereby limiting use of the property to the proposed use or a less intense use.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended by the change in zoning district classification, from R-2 Residential to C-4 Commercial, for the following described property: Lots 14 and 15 of College Place Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
