A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH EAST ARKANSAS BROADCASTERS AND THE CANINE SPORTS LEAGUE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DOG JUMPING DOCK AT CRAIGHEAD FOREST PARK

WHEREAS, East Arkansas Broadcasters is a for-profit media corporation and Rick Crawford dba "Canine Sports League" is a for-profit media consultant.
WHEREAS, the CITY is the owner of that certain public park amenities known as the "Craighead Forest Park",
WHEREAS, East Arkansas Broadcasters and the Canine Sports League are seeking to construct a dock at Craighead Forest Park to hold dog jumping contests and for the public use of Jonesboro citizens.
WHEREAS, the East Arkansas Broadcasters, the Canine Sports League and the City of Jonesboro desire to enter a construction agreement to permit East Arkansas Broadcasters and the Canine Sports League to construct a dock at Craighead Forest Park at no cost to the City of Jonesboro;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall contract with East Arkansas Broadcasters and the Canine Sports League to construct a maintenance facility at Craighead Forest Park at no cost to the City of Jonesboro. A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
