BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows:

From R-1 to C-3 of property described as follows: (E. of Fairgrounds, fronts Highland Dr., 2.296 acres, Jerome Ruther - Dennis Zolper )

A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4, NW 1/4) of Section 28, Township14 North, Range 4 East of the 5th Principal Meridian in Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows;

From the northwest corner of said Section 28, thence south 60.00 feet to a point, thence N 89degrees 30' E 100.00 feet to a point on the southerly right-of-way of Arkansas Highway 18, continue thence N 89 degrees 30' E 222.80 feet along said right-of-way to a point, thence N 89 degrees 20' E 437.20 feet along said right-of-way to the Point of Beginning:

Thence N 89 degrees 21'22 “ E 200.00 feet along said right-of-way to a point, thence S 00 degrees 00'00" W 500.00 feet to a point, thence S89 degrees 21' 22" W 200.00 feet to a point, thence N 00 degrees 00' 00" E 500.00 feet to a point on the southerly right-of-way of Arkansas Highway 18, the Point of Beginning, containing some 2.296 acres, more of less, subject to a utility easement five feet (5') in width on the west side thereof.
