AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1205, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE HOUSING CODE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No.1205 is amended as follows:
The Southern Standard Housing Code being particularly the 1965 edition is deleted and the Southern Standard Housing Code being particularly the 1969 edition is hereby inserted.
Section 2: All Ordinances and/or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
