A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH GRIFFIN GRANT WRITING & CONSULTING, INC. AND THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has contacted and has proposed to enter into a contract for professional grant writing with Griffin Grant Writing & Consulting, Inc.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is desirous of executing an agreement as attached, that provides additional grants above the present grants, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Jonesboro, that:

SECTION 1:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract, as attached.

SECTION 2:                     The City Council of the City of Jonesboro pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to pursue all grants that is determined by the City to pursue.
