RESOLUTION TO GRANT A 50 FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY OVER MARSHALL STREET BETWEEN HIGHWAY 1 AND AGGIE ROAD TO THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHERE, the State of Arkansas Highway Department has agreed to take Marshall Street in the City of Jonesboro over for the purpose of maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, Marshall Street between Highway 1 on the North and Aggie Road on the South for approximately 1500 feet has become and is an integral part of the institutional drive of Arkansas State College and falls under the jurisdiction of the Arkansas State Highway Department for maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, Marshall Street has a 50 foot right-of-way running North and South between Aggie Road and Highway 1 and that the Arkansas State Highway Department is granted right-of-way over and across this street for the purpose of maintaining and keeping up Marshall Street.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a 50 foot right-of-way over Marshall Street between Highway 1 on the North and Aggie Road on the South for approximately 1500 feet is hereby, granted and given unto the Arkansas State Highway Department as said street has become an integral part of the institutional drive of Arkansas State College and falls under the highway department for maintenance and up keep.
