AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLES 8.40 AND 8.44 OF THE JONESBORO CODE OF ORDINANCES, AMENDING SECTION 8.40.18 TO ALLOW PARKING IN THE 600 BLOCK OF POPLAR (NORTH SIDE ONLY); AND TO PROHIBIT PARKING WITHIN 100 FEET OF THE FLINT STREET INTERSECTION ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET.

BE IT THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that;
SECTION 1: Section 8.40.18, known as “Parking Time Limits” shall be amended by adding Subsection (h) which shall read as follows:
The 600 Block of Poplar (North Side Only).
SECTION 2: Section 8.44.14, known as “Parking Time Limits Designated” shall be amended by adding subsection (E) (2) which shall read as follows:
No parking within 100 feet of the Flint Street intersection (Both sides).
SECTION 3: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take effect and be in full force from and after its' passage and approval.
