BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That Mr. Wilford Williams is the owner of the following described property and that said owner is hereby ordered to remove or raze the building upon said property within thirty (30) days from the effective date of this Ordinance.

Section 2: That said property is hereinafter set forth in this Section, giving the street address and the hazard which it constitutes to the citizens of Jonesboro, Arkansas, the same being as follows: The property is located at 1103 Flint Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas and said structure is deficient as follows: the structure was extensively damaged by fire on the 26th day of September, 1981; the structure has experienced further deterioration since the fire due to being exposed to the elements; the destroyed floors, walls, electrical facilities and plumbing renders the structure to be in violation of the Standard Housing Code, 1979 Edition, as adopted by the City of Jonesboro.

Section 3: The City Attorney is hereby directed to institute legal proceedings as may be necessary, in order to enforce the provisions of this Ordinance and to remedy the dangers and unsightly conditions brought about as a result of the owners to properly keep up said property.

Section 4: That said legal proceedings shall provide that unless the house is razed within a certain period to be allowed by the Court, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is hereby authorized to raze said property and have a lien upon the real estate for the cost of removing said house.

Section 5: That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.
